my practical exams is tomorrow and my theory exams (all 3, wheh) is on friday. shitting bricks is an understatement….
i have left bootcamp (boohoo :( ) mainly because i just can’t afford it anymore. my local gym however is doing a great offer for a year membership (€215 for the year!!) which includes swimming, morning, evening and weekend exercise classes (which are 45-60 minutes long) and i can attend anytime and from what i know i can also get consultations as well. as much as i loved bootcamp, the hours just don’t suit now that i work in the evenings and it would mean that (if i could still afford it) i would only attend bootcamp once a week and quiet frankly, i am too addicted to exercising to even think that 1 day a week will do me good, which lets face it, training once a week isn’t really realistic.
i started my new job on saturday and boy was i exhausted afterwards! the people i work with are extremely lovely so that’s a plus. it was mainly induction and that will carry on again on tuesday. inductions are a pain in the bum but hey, i ain’t complaining, i have a job :)
the relationship with my boyfriend has grown a lot stronger the past week or so (we were having major problems for the last few weeks) and what happens? i go and lose the promise ring that he got me for my birthday!! seriously!?!?! i had it on my finger on saturday and then it just vanish!! i still haven’t told him and i feel crappy that i might have to tell him. it’s not the price that matters, it’s the thought and i know for a fact he will tell me to jog on if i ask for a replacement haha
i went back to training tonight after nearly a week out and when i say my eating went down the drain, it literally went down the drain! i could of easily watched what i ate but the excuses i made were horrendous! i paid for it today in class (my last ever bootcamp :( ) and i am SORE!
i hope all is keeping well and thank you so much for continuing to follow me even though i have neglected my blog :(
keep up the amazing work guys, you all inspire me :) xox
i have asked questions. i have taken notes. i have seen results and i have finally decided i would like to do a trial. yes i have watched the 5:2 fast diet documentary ages ago and i was really amaze by the results but i never really taught about doing the diet until a friend and i spoke about it in college last week. my friend decided she wanted to try it out but she hardly had a clue about the “diet” itself. my friend taught it was “eat whatever you want for 5 days and starve yourself for 2 days”. when you look at it, it kind of is like that but lets be realistic, your body needs food! looking at the research and i will amaze to see that all i really had to do was cut back two days a week and still eat healthy (as i usually do) for the rest of the week and still exercise.
has anyone ever tried this diet before or heard of anyone that has? have they seen results? what sort of diet did you have?
i woke smiling again this morning because …
training is going great. college is going great. myself and my boyfriend are going great.
hope all is keeping well. just remember to keep smiling and think positive. even in the worst possible moments, positive thinking is always the key :)
happy friday xoxo
i woke up this morning totally in love with my body. i got 98% in my class Anatomy & Physiology test and i have training later on which i am looking forward to.
Wake up happy and you will be happy all day :)
happy wednesday xox
last year i completed a 10 km marathon in 2 hours and i walked the whole thing, this year, i non stopped ran for 6km which is an amazing achievment, especially since last year i would of never taught i would even run 1km let alone 6km. i am so proud of myself. i ended up fast walking the last 3km as my body was physically giving up and i have a slight kidney infection so my kidneys were playing havoc but i refuse to say that i could of done better because i think i done great :)
today however, i am in so much pain! my feet are barely hanging on!
i had my facial and make-up mock exams today (pre-test) for college which i think i done fairly well and i also had an interview for penny’s (primark) which i am crossing my fingers, toes and legs!
happy monday xox
i have been avoiding it like the plague because as much i hate to admit it, it does be freezing when i start running and i hate the cold! like anyone i guess but the horrible irish weather puts anyone off anything (i need to stop making excuses!)
i maned the fuck up, put on my new running shorts, tied my running shoes and went for a 5km run with my mam and two friends. it was bloody tough! i honestly taught i had forgotten how to run. my chest was tightening, my lungs were closing in on me and don’t ask me what was the story with my legs. of all the runs that i have done, this was the worst but i never gave up! i ended up running with a lovely lady who today completed it for the first time. we both encouraged each other to never give up and reminded ourselves that when the tough gets tough, you gotta keep going!
i think i done well but i could of done better if i actually bothered to stick with the running all the time.
i have 119 days until my holiday. i have paid for my 60 day bootcamp which will help, ALOT! i recently purchased a bike, so cycling will be done, ALOT! i have signed up for a Duathalon ( which is a 5km run then a 20 km cycle finished off with another 5km run) and two 10km marathons.
but it’s fair to say, right now, my bum hurts from the run.
happy saturday :) xox
Nathan presented me with a beautiful silver ring with a purple diamond which is my favorite colour :)
as i cycled home from his house today, the wind was so heavy it literally made cycling a lot longer and harder but hey, tougher the cycle, tougher the training :) home and showered and relax for the night. chilli con carne is cooking as i type, the smell is delicious :)
happy monday :) xox
